Role: Hand lettering & typographic adaptation
Client: B de Blok
Year: 2025
For the Spanish edition of The Most Boring Book Ever, I created a hand-lettered adaptation of the original title, preserving the expressive, organic style of the original design while ensuring typographic balance in the new language.
The challenge was to reinterpret the layout and rhythm of the original lettering, adjusting to the different word lengths and accents in Spanish.
This adaptation involved:
Careful analysis of the original lettering style.
Full redrawing of the title in Spanish, respecting the hand-drawn look.
Compositional adjustments to fit the space within the tree shape on the cover.
