illustrated packaging for Mano a Mano, a specialty coffee brand. This project involved designing vibrant and dynamic illustrations for coffee bags, pouches, cans, and takeaway cups, all tied together by a playful, hand-drawn aesthetic.
My goal was to create a single illustration that could be adapted across different packaging formats while maintaining a strong visual identity. The artwork is filled with elements that celebrate the coffee-making ritual:
•Coffee brewing tools, including a moka pot and a glass coffee server, representing different brewing traditions.
•Expressive hands, interacting with cups of coffee—pouring, holding, and serving—reinforcing the idea of connection and sharing.
•Coffee plants with cherries, linking the design to the origins of the beans from Mexico and Brazil.
•Dynamic coffee splashes and steam, adding movement and energy to the composition.
•Small details like sugar cubes, coffee beans, and stars, making the design feel rich, engaging, and full of personality.
Coffee is an essential part of my daily life—the smell, the taste, and the ritual of making and sharing it. With Mano a Mano, I wanted to capture that feeling visually, creating packaging that feels warm, inviting, and full of life.
Hope you like it!
