Hi, I’m Marta! I’m an illustrator who brings stories to life for the youngest readers.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve believed that picture books are little worlds of magic. My passion is creating vibrant, character-driven illustrations that make children feel seen, understood, and filled with wonder. I specialize in crafting endearing characters and immersive scenes that invite young readers to explore, laugh, and connect with a story long after the last page is turned.

As a professional illustrator, I partner with publishers and authors to build a cohesive visual narrative from the first sketch to the final artwork. I thrive on collaboration and clear communication, ensuring that my illustrations not only capture the heart of the text but also leave the perfect space for it to shine. I’m proud to have worked with leading publishers like Penguin Random House and Larousse, helping to create books that are loved by families around the world.

When I’m not at my desk in Madrid, Spain, you can usually find me getting lost in a good book, trying to stop my dogs (or cat…) from stealing my pencils, or exploring the world one sketchbook page at a time. I believe that a little bit of humor and a lot of heart are the secret ingredients to any great project.
